This handwoven Moroccan kilim rug was made by Moroccan women artisans, working on a vertical loom over nearly three weeks of patient work — thread by thread, never copied, never repeated. It is a true flatweave, woven so that the same design can be styled from either side. Made entirely from 100% natural wool and naturally dyed, this is not a reproduction — it was entirely imagined by the artisan who made it. It is the only one of its kind in the world.
Meaning & Symbolism
What looks like a simple decorative pattern is in fact a quiet language. At its heart, five interlocking diamonds sit in a row across the center — the bond between family, community, and generations. Their colors carry their own meanings: wisdom, growth, happiness, and fertility.
Smaller diamonds and a flowing blue zigzag line move through the rug like a current — symbols of protection, blessings, and balance, letting positive energy circulate freely through your home.

Color from the Earth
Every color in this rug comes from one of two sources: a traditional pigment dissolved in a copper pot, or the natural color of the wool itself, straight from the sheep. Nothing is bought as a ready-made color.
The touches of green in the central diamonds come from over-dyeing yellow wool in indigo — never from a separate dye.
The cream and white threads in the motifs and fringe are not dyed at all — they come straight from the natural color of light-fleeced sheep.
