What is a Moroccan rug?
A Moroccan rug is a handmade rug connected with Morocco’s diverse weaving traditions. Some are hand-knotted with a raised pile; others are flatwoven kilims.
Are the rugs ready-made?
The designs are references for a made-to-order rug. You can follow a direction closely or adapt dimensions, colours, wool, technique and texture.
Will I see the colours and texture first?
Yes. We share the closest available wool shades and, when appropriate, a small texture reference before full weaving begins.
How long does it take?
Most commissions take approximately 6–13 weeks, depending on size, technique, wool and detail. The exact timeline is confirmed before production begins.
